Million minds in my mind…

Welcome to the World of Wisdom

Their Sacrifice, Our Gain

Today morning, When i was admiring the beauty of nature in terrace, i saw trees,  beautiful, so beautiful…

I like trees around, because they make life more pleasant. Most of us respond to the presence of trees beyond simply observing their beauty. I feel serene, peaceful, restful, and tranquil in a grove of trees…

There are many lessons that we can learn from trees!! They Inspire me in million ways..

We gain lots of things by the sacrifice of the trees like wood, paper, medicine, so and so(There is endless list)… They never expect anything in return.. Likewise we should learn to sacrifice. It has its own rewards.. Everyday little sacrifice would make life wonderful and meaningful … It paves the way for success in healthy relationship.

Sweat plus sacrifice equals success.

            -Charles O. Finley

Part of the happiness of life consists not in fighting battles, but in avoiding them. A masterly retreat is in itself a victory.

          -Norman Vincent Peale

Self-sacrifice is the real miracle out of which all the reported miracles grow.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the one you love, is by far, the truest type of love.

Thanks to WordPress, Blogspot and other blogging websites.. They help readers to express their feelings on their blog rather than paper :D Perhaps trees are saved ;) I know it sounds funny&crazy.. :D

  1. This is something i try to teach my children. I tell them that the only way they’ll get what they want out of life to to give up part of themselves in the process.

Sacrifice is the brick and mortar that a good person’s character is built with.

  2. Absolutely. Trees are like those loved ones that we never tell how much they mean to us until it’s too late. We just don’t notice until it’s gone. Thanks for the reminder.
    Peace & grace,

  3. very true khushbu
trees bring us serenity, peace if mind, tranquility, and also remind us of God creative creations – the endless varieties, how they change through the season, the colours etc etc

and the cocept of saving trees is not funny or crazy. It is noble.
We definitely need them trees to stand on our ground.

thanks to digital and online media for helping us eliminate paper….

You should get to know this amazing Kenyan environmentalist if you haven’t heard of her yet: Wangari Maathai (http://www.greenbeltmovement.org/w.php?id=59), she is a nobel prize winner for peace. :) You should read her autobiography: Unbowed! :) Very inspiring, and she touches up on what you have discussed here! :)

“In a few decades, the relationship between the environment, resources and conflict may seem almost as obvious as the connection we see today between human rights, democracy and peace.” — Wangari Maathai

  6. Very comforting thoughts!

  7. My husband recently did a series of paintings called Hidden Trees. It was a collaboration between my photography & his painting, we both love trees. He wanted people to catch a glimpse of what we often miss when we rush by in our busy lives. The show was a great success and he got media coverage that was really good too. I think a lot of people love trees more than they speak about it. Thanks for sharing these thoughts.

    • I am glad that you and your husband Like tress :) I would love to see your word (Photography and paintings) Please share it in your wordpress post :) Thanks for your comment ;)

Very nicely written. Here where I live it can get very hot in summer, and without these beautiful trees to give us their wonderful shade we would be lost.

  9. Khushbu… You are a wonderful writer! I love trees too…but you wrote eloquently about trees and their sacrifices. You put love and creativity into your writing. The idea that we should make sacrifices is a wonderful continuation of your post, and so important for everyone to remember and practice. Too many people have no idea what it means to make a small sacrifice. Society has become greedy and used to instant gratification. Thanks so much for this lovely and meaningful post!

  17. My heart just breaks when I drive by areas that have been clear cut, or when I pass a truck laden with freshly cut trees. I give a silent offering of thanks to them as I drive by. So glad you are writing about this and to read the comments of so many who agree with you. Time to go out and bless the trees on my land once again.
